ALC was formed in January of 2006. However, ALC is really just a new name for transportation companies with roots in the industry for over 50 years. ALC has been transporting individuals under the name of Call Oscar (ALC’s predecessor) since September 1999. Call Oscar provided transportation in California only. Today, ALC provides transportation in 18 states to three different market segments: Healthcare (NEMT/NMT), K-12 Schools (special needs students), and Government (paratransit/dial-a-ride for municipalities).
